Verdict

JANAAB won this last year off a 1lb higher mark and with Rachel Richardson's claim to help he can go in again though any more rain would be unwelcome. Eastern Dragon has been running well all year though is 11lb higher than his latest victory but further rain would aid the cause of Illustrious Prince, whose last success was on soft ground at Beverley from exactly this mark. The veteran Osteopathic Remedy has managed to win 13 times including here and was once rated 97 but he's been looking a light of former days recently. Trail Blaze likes soft ground and has been running in better company while Shamaheart is only up 3lb for his Redcar success though likes very fast ground.
