Verdict

David Nicholls has won four of the last seven and though HIT THE LIGHTS has a bit to find on official ratings he's running better than most of his rivals and can keep up the sequence. Fast Shot was racing in Class 2 handicaps for much of last season but he hasn't shown much when dropped two grades this term. Long Awaited heads the ratings but didn't run very well on ground with some give at Windsor on Monday while Nezar hasn't won a race for almost three years.
