Verdict

Three-year-olds have only won two of the last ten. Overhaugh Street is comfortably the pick of the younger generation on official ratings and his best run was on soft ground here though he's run very poorly in two runs this season. I T Guru won a similar race to this at Catterick last time but the vote goes to FAINTLY (NAP). Tony Carroll's charge has won the last twice he's performed at this level though a line through Johnny B Goode, who finished runner-up to him and I T Guru last time, suggests there's very little between the pair here. The last time Bold Spirit ran over this trip on good ground he won a Musselburgh handicap so he could snatch a place.
