Not the easiest race to call, but it may be worth giving Jake Black a chance to come good while conditions are in his favour and he is selected over Dance To My Tune and Maritime Blues, who both arrive here in good form after winning last time. That said, Mount Benger is better than he showed last time and will also do his bit to make sure this is a strongly contested affair. Dance To My Tune, already a dual winner this season, is only 2lb higher than when winning at Nottingham twelve days ago and still has scope for improvement at this trip. However, the on course bookmakers are unlikely to be taking any chance with Mick Easterby's charge and the better value looks to lay elsewhere. Jake Black fits that profile, as he has always reserved his best efforts for when there is some juice in the ground. The trip is not an issue with the son of Definite Article and, as his defeat of Dickie Deadeye from earlier in the season proves, he is very tough to overhaul when he has conditions to suit.
