In depth

Verdict

Arabiyah looks to have been found a really suitable opportunity here and he can land this event over Hurricane Thomas and Sangfroid. This 3-year-old filly from the Luca Cumani yard finished fifth behind Love Brothers at Bath last time but the race has worked out well and with this step-up in trip likely to play to her strengths she can score. Hurricane Thomas was disappointing at Newmarket last time but he is another that should be suited by the extra yardage today and with this in mind he should not be dismissed lightly. Sangfroid is actually dropped in trip which should suit and he does not look the most straightforward so is possibly best watched. Sonara ran respectably at Newmarket last time and it would be no surprise of he were to challenge for some place money here, but we prefer the claims of Arabiyah who is taken to land the spoils.
