In depth

Verdict

Leopard Creek, Bells Boy's, Frenchmans Lodge and Compton Plume are the ones to concentrate on in the finale with the vote going to Leopard Creek. The selection is related to multiple winners, notably Bishops Court, and he showed improved form to be second behind Feu Duty from a bad draw last time. He again has conditions to suit and from what looks a fair draw he is taken to score. Bells Boy's rates the main danger as he is another that has conditions to suit and he proved his well-being when a good third behind Sotonian at Nottingham last time. Frenchmans Lodge was a good second behind Rileys Dream last time, but that was in a seller and this is more competitive so he will have to improve to score. Compton Plume is another worthy of respect despite top weight and he has the services of Nicky Tinkler to boost his claims. Of the remainder, Chantry Falls has Carol Williams in the plate so cannot be ruled out, but Leopard Creek looks the one to beat and is as such nominated to lead them home.
