    Verdict

Wise Tale, Chivvy Charver and Ho Pang Yau are three against the field in a poor contest and the confident vote goes to Wise Tale. The selection was running in much better races than this last season and if he could reproduce the line of form which saw him finish second behind Gabla under similar conditions he would be hard to beat. Chivvy Charver rates the main danger on his latest second behind Tender Touch but he is far from consistent and for that reason he is opposed. Ho Pang Yau is another that could go well on his best form but he appears to have his own ideas about the game so he can not be backed with any confidence. Of the remainder Travello is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Wise Tale.
