Verdict

The opening race on the card can go to Easy Feeling over Elsie Wagg and newcomers Molly Marie and Sharplaw Star. Easy Feeling showed ability on her Haydock debut when third to the more experienced Sapphire Dream and with normal improvement should be capable of opening her account before being aimed at Newbury's Weatherbys Super Sprint in July. Richard Hannon is doing well with his juveniles at present, and the daughter of Night Shift will be strongly fancied with the drop back in trip not a problem. Elsie Wagg was an encouraging third over five furlongs on her Goodwood debut and the stiffer track will help her as well, while Molly Marie comes from a stable that can get the odd one or two ready first time. Sharplaw Star makes the journey from Newmarket on the back of some useful reports and should be noted, especially if the market speaks favourably, but Easy Feeling should have the edge on this occasion at least.
