In depth

Verdict

Arklow Ger had over four lengths in hand of Askmeroe over this trip at Fairyhouse last time but isn't certain to confirm the form on 5lb worse terms. Willie Mullins has won this three times in the past six years and the lightly-raced and progressive KILLULTAGH QUEEN is taken to add to his tally on her handicap debut. Stepped up to 2m6f for the first time at Ballinrobe, she made short work of her rivals and looks one to follow from this mark. Nicky Henderson's Shakalakaboomboom has performed with credit at Cheltenham and Aintree and the handicapper has dropped him 3lb but the main threat could come from Beautiful Sound, who was a strong fancy for the Byrne Group Handicap at Cheltenham and ran a fair race behind Holmwood Legend. The veteran Hold The Pin is in great form and is another to consider in one of the meeting's toughest events.
