In depth

Verdict

A very strong line-up for this Grade 3 contest and it's a surprise to see the presence of the classy chaser J'y Vole, who was well behind Big Zeb here on Wednesday, as it's a very long time since she ran over hurdles. Willie Mullins is also represented by Morning Supreme, a classy hurdler who has fallen in two of her three starts over fences and won the other by a distance. There's a powerful raiding party headed by Veiled, a Listed winner from ALASI at Cheltenham but that was over 2m6f and the runner-up was conceding a stone to the winner. Paul Webber's mare had earlier run well behind Quevega at the Festival and can get back on the winning trail. Golden Sunbird may prove the best of the home contingent as she easily landed a Listed event at Limerick before a fine run behind Knockfierna in a Fairyhouse Grade 2 when Shop Dj wasn't far behind and is 4lb better off.
