Verdict

This is a competitive-looking fillies' handicap but the hat-trick seeking Mosaicist is sure to be popular with Kieren Fallon, in the saddle for her wins at Yarmouth and Kempton, taking the reins again. Blanche Dubawi has been in the frame at Newbury and Newmarket in her two runs this year and makes plenty of appeal off bottom weight, while Desert Poppy was second off this mark at Goodwood earlier this month. Walter Swinburn's charge, along with Sioux Rising, proved no match for AMITOLA at Newmarket in September, however, and David Barron's lightly-raced filly could be the one to beat in this if her run in a Listed contest at Haydock has blown away a few cobwebs. Sir Michael Stoute's Entitled and Pepper Lane may prove the pick of the remainder, though the former's stable has gone very quiet lately and she doesn't look particularly well handicapped while the latter disappointed at Ripon last time.
