Verdict

It's not uncommon for a Mark Johnston runner to bounce back from a poor run and Memorabilia probably needed his run at Sandown. But he was beaten such a long way on his reappearance that it's difficult to be confident about his chances here, despite the drop in grade. Paco Belle is only a plater, while the maiden Bradbury has already been exposed as moderate. Around The Clock stepped up on previous efforts when second at Brighton, however, and could make a race of it with RESIDENCE AND SPA. Tim Easterby's gelding appreciated the step up to 1m4f when third on his latest start at Beverley and looks ready to open his account now.
