Verdict

Another poor turnout which can go the way of Alasil, who was found out by the heavily watered ground at Salisbury last time. He had previously finished second to the useful Rainwashed Gold on his debut and a re-production of that effort would make him hard to beat. Excellento, out of Coronation Stakes winner Golden Opinion is worthy of respect , as is Mark Johnston's Saddler's Wells colt Altitude Dancer, who is a half-brother to middle-distance winner Treble Hights. St Edith looks outclassed.
