My Name Is Rio hasn't performed at a level this low since scoring at Newcastle two years ago and his two subsequent victories include one over track and trip on soft ground. He made a promising reappearance at Doncaster and looks ready to score again soon though OCEAN SHERIDAN was in front of him on Town Moor and there's no reason to suggest he won't be again. Michael Dods' charge completed a hat-trick on soft going at Hamilton last summer and showed he could mix it at this level on his reappearance. Related is another who generally runs in better class races, though the ground may be a bit soft for him, but Avon Breeze will love the conditions and the lack of a recent run is rarely a problem for one of Richard Whitaker's runners. The lightly-raced Beardwood won here a year ago and showed potential in subsequent handicaps so is one to keep an eye on with Sammy Jo Bell's claim a big help.
