In depth

Verdict

Board Of Trade battled on to land a maiden over the course and distance though the runner-up has been beaten subsequently. Dual bumper winner VINCIAETTIS (NAP) has the scope to go on to better things and though his victory over hurdles at Chepstow came over the minimum trip he's likely to be even better over the extra half-mile on decent going so looks the one to be on. Will O'the West won a couple of minor races before failing to handle Grade 3 company at Sandown and he'll be more at home in the class while the lightly-raced Banny's Lad has some improvement in him and wouldn't be travelling from North Yorkshire without good reason.
