In depth

Verdict

Lets Hope So was well supported on her racecourse debut in a Uttoxeter bumper last March and did it nicely so the lack of a recent run or experience over timber may not prove a problem. Late Night Lily made too many mistakes when narrowly beaten over 2m3f here last month and could find this on the short side so LAPALALA is handed the vote. Philip Hobbs' charge was in the lead when falling at the last on her hurdling debut at Exeter and was then beaten at Newton Abbot but the remainder were in another parish in that latter event and compensation awaits. Goldray had been racing over further and over fences before finding this sort of trip to her liking at Chepstow so she should make a bid to reach the frame.
