In depth

Verdict

Champion Harbour started favourite at Nottingham on Saturday but took a while to warm to his task and will be better for the experience. Dusker is related to numerous winners and showed very good speed on his debut at Kempton, only fading in the closing stages. The remaining trio with experience all ran well enough and, with progress virtually guaranteed, can make their presence felt. But Tom Dascombe has his horses in good form and SIDEWINDER, who is related to a host of winners, should be a speedy type and gets the nod to make a successful debut. Sir Viktor is a half-brother to useful juvenile Kingsbridge and should be a pacey type.
