    Verdict

This is a modest handicap and is an excellent opportunity for Quick to land the four-timer, with Kroisos and Usk Valley selected to fight out the places. Martin Pipe¿s gelding comes here in terrific form having landed an Exeter handicap in early October and then following up last week at Taunton when easily accounting for just two rivals. Today¿s opposition is no stronger and in this mood Quick will take all the beating. Spiritual Dancer visits a racecourse for the first time in two years and although he had some ability, he is probably best watched today. Kroisos has some good form on the course including a gallant second to King Triton in March, his recent outing should have blown away the cobwebs and he could be the one to fill the runner up spot. Usk Valley had some reasonable form in the spring and should go well off his low weight, but Quick should land this on route to better things.
