DUTY FREE has the form on the board so it is hard to get away from Jimmy Moffatt's runner in the opening contest on the card. Makhaaleb is the most likely to be open to progression on paper and is watched closely in the market given Gordon Elliott's stable form. Although related to sprinters, he seemed to stay a mile or so on the flat without too many issues. Jewelled Dagger has already placed in a similar event and should not want for match fitness as he has been keeping counsel on the flat this summer. Great Bounder was a modest middle distance maiden on the flat and has clearly not lived up to the promise of his pedigree. Piccolo Pride would not mind any overnight rain.
