    Verdict

TWELVE PACES is something of a gamble on a reappearance from a long absence but Peter Monteith has found a weak race and there is little doubt that from a quality perspective, his past form more than stands up to scrutiny. Adrianeo hasn't shown too much under rules though had some fair pieces of form in Points in Ireland. Kyber could be argued to be well handicapped though he does not trouble the judge with much regularity. Thunder Hawk won a hunters event at Cartmel in June and the 10-year-old would be suited were this race to develop into a real test of stamina. All hopes with Cute N You Know It rely on the headgear making a discernable effect.
