Verdict

The last race on the Nottingham card can rest between GOLDEN PROSPECT, West End Lad and Ermine Grey with the first mentioned getting the vote. The selection has been in good form and can go in again under Paul Fitzsimons. Not many will handle the ground but the forecast favourite will relish the mud. West End Lad is a worthy opponent and he should be monitored in the betting. He has some nice course and distance form and underfoot conditions should hold no fears. Jamie Spencer gets the leg up on Ermine Grey for Tony Carroll and this duo should be respected. Carroll's horses are still in great form but Golden Prospect is still a confident selection.
