POPPY N'PENNY is fancied to step up on the form of her Yarmouth debut and get the better of Social Grace, Fenella Rose et al. The selection was unfancied in the market but showed plenty of promise to run on strongly after a slow start and should be all the better for the experience and Liam Jones taking over in the saddle. Social Grace showed promise on debut but didn't really build on that at Redcar; she may have been feeling the ground on that occasion and may yet to be able to go on. Fenella Rose showed up prominently behind the Albany winner at this track on debut but has had her limitations exposed in two subsequent starts. She may still prove up to winning a modest race and a visor could bring about some improvement. Mrs Mogg, Crystal Bridge, Excelling and Nabrina are all newcomers worth noting in the market but Poppy N'Penny is taken to make good use of her experience.
