In depth

Verdict

Sally Alner's Kingston-Banker has done little wrong over regulation fences and is fancied to continue winning ways at the main expense of David Pipe's Burley Don Carlos and Mrs Be. The last mentioned has been running well in point-to-points of late without any success and showed enough over regulation fences at Ludlow in February to suggest that she could play a part in a contest of this nature. More solid claims are arguably held by winning pointer Burley Don Carlos, although he looked held by the selection when unseating his rider at Wincanton last time. Consistent pointer Bengal Bullet, the 10-year-old Teninarow and the unexposed Skip 'n' Tune are others to consider but Kingston-Banker looks a progressive type and is taken to score.
