Verdict

This is a wide open event and from a shortlist of KALADAN, Galilean and Qanta de Thaix we will side with Kaladan as the pick. The selection is lightly-raced but he has won two of his three starts and he looks like one to stay on the right side of. Tim Vaughan also has his string in good form which is another plus. Galilean disappointed last time but this is easier and this 6-year-old has shown a decent level of form in Ireland. Qanta de Thaix has twice run well over this course and distance and with Tony McCoy doing the steering it would be a surprise if he wasn't able to make the frame. Cinnamon Hill will have learned plenty for his hurdles debut last time when in the main he jumped well, and with that experience under his belt he could go well at a price. There are plenty in with chances here but the vote goes to Kaladan.
