        Verdict

        TEMPTRESS (NAP) has been raised 11lb for her facile victory at Ascot but she looks very progressive. She scored on soft ground at Goodwood in May and will take the world of beating. Fruit Pastille has won three times on Polytrack and though still a maiden on Turf there's no reason why she shouldn't transfer her progressive form. Auction hasn't won since May of last year and is still 9lb higher and bigger threat may emerge from No Poppy. Tim Easterby doesn't send horses here without good reason and the mare will be attempting to win her 10th race, with most of her successes coming on soft ground.
