Verdict

Ball Hopper won on heavy going at Newton Abbot in May so will handle conditions but has only raced once since and finished more than 10 lengths behind One For The Boss, who re-opposes on the same terms, and was even further adrift of NO THROUGH ROAD. Michael Scudamore's charge is still a maiden but might be the one to beat receiving weight from his six rivals as Milly Malone has never raced on going this soft.
