Verdict

Henryhudsonbridge needs to show massive improvement though wasn't suited by heavy ground at Leicester. Algaith started favourite on his debut here but looked green as he did when landing a Kempton nursery so he's likely to make further progress. Hawkesbury landed a Doncaster novice event by seven lengths then chased home subsequent Dewhurst winner Belardo at a respectable distance. That's the best form on offer though the feeling is that FANNAAN could be something special. A $350,000 yearling, he made a very impressive debut at Haydock despite missing the break and looks set for better things.
