    Verdict

Diamond Lady was beaten less than a length at Lingfield last time but is closely matched with Joe Packet on their run together here earlier and also with Light From Mars. Corporal Maddox had Joe Packet behind at Chepstow last month but conditions wouldn't have suited the latter that day. Jontleman ended his losing run at Chepstow nine days ago and is only 3lb higher while Meandmyshadow is back in form but HE'S MY BOY may be capable of shrugging off the fact that he's 3lb wrong in the weights as he's on the upgrade and missed the break and met trouble in-running at Redcar last time.
