The four-year-old Sin Miedo was brought down by a faller on his chasing debut at Tramore and probably needs more experience as does four-times hurdles winner Harangue, well beaten on his debut over fences. Old Laxey hasn't looked a natural over the bigger obstacles and could need further while Plan A has been extremely disappointing since making a promising chasing debut behind Special Tiara at Ballinrobe. BLACKLOUGH was much the best of these over hurdles with two victories and several placed efforts in top handicaps to his credit. His pedigree suggests he can do even better over fences and he's taken to make a successful start to his new career.
