Verdict

Ryan Moore is five from sixteen for John Jenkins over the past five seasons which is enough for HILLTOP ARTISTRY to be awarded the vote. Hustle and Unlimited are other contenders for the short-list whilst the usual caveat is issued with regard to Aviso. Lord Theo, Hustle and Eastern Gift all represent in-form yards whilst King Columbo is running well at present and could reward each-way support. Unlimited spoilt his chance by pulling too hard at Bath and is capable of better here with Perfect Class another capable of taking a hand if the cards fall right. Kieren Fallon is an interesting booking for the well handicapped, course specialist Sonny Parkin but he is not the easiest of rides and preference is for Hilltop Artistry. The colt has shown little in two seasons for another yard or, indeed, on debut for his current connections at Kempton at the beginning of June but the booking of the Champion Jockey suggests that better is expected from Hilltop Artistry this time around.
