In depth

Verdict

Chianti is useful and deserved his win at Epsom last time. There is a suggestion that Vicious Knight prefers fast going. Chester Vase third Kayseri probably has better to come. Frankies Dream was outclassed in the Derby but ran well to be third in a first-time visor in the Predominate Stakes on his previous run. Al Mohallab has not been seen this year. The form of his maiden win last year looks good as the runner-up, Kaieteur, has scored at Group 1 level this year. He may need this first run though. His dam is a half-sister to Nashwan and Unfuwain. Lady High Havens is also useful and gets a useful weight pull on the others. A very good contest.
