    Verdict

John Gosden has won three of the last four of these and MR SINGH has a very good chance of extending the sequence after his close second behind Balios in the Group 2 King Edward VII Stakes. Aidan O'Brien had the close third and fourth in that Ascot event so should know how he stands with the selection, though the form of Fields Of Athenry doesn't quite match up. Horseshoe Bay won a maiden here in May by seven lengths and the 250,000gns yearling deserves a crack at this sort of level. Tommy Docc and Future Empire occupied the places in the Queens Vase, though both could need further on this fast ground while Monotype and Rocky Rider have a bit to find.
