Verdict

There's no need to look beyond MANIFEST for this maiden with Ebiayn perhaps the likeliest to change him home. Typically, given his handler, Manifest has been given plenty of time since a debut which justified the market support and racecourse gossip that abounded. He ran green and got into gear too late to catch a stablemate on that occasion but will be wiser now and this brilliantly bred colt can take this contest in his stride before tackling tougher opposition. He'll relish this longer trip as will Ebiayn who has, not surprisingly given his pedigree, looked short of pace in three runs over a mile. He's been given a mark of 82 so is clearly useful but it'd be surprising if he were able to lower the colours of the selection. Parts of Count Of Tuscany's pedigree point to him being able to see out this longer trip and his debut was promising but he's been off the track for a long time. Moonbeam Dancer presumably hasn't been the easiest to train but she has the ability to win races although not enough to win this one. Sally Forth is the only other runner worthy of mention but the claims of Manifest are obvious.
