Verdict

FOOLIN MYSELF is taken to get the better of The Osteopath and One Way Or Another. The selection looked a useful sort as a juvenile and although he has clearly had his problems since then, he shaped as though he was coming back to his best with a good effort at Ascot last month. He has trip and ground to suit and he looks the one to beat. The Osteopath could not be in better form and he is on the hat-trick bid today. He beat Flipando at Newcastle last time and he is another who will have no problems with the ground today. One Way Or Another is a course and distance winner but he is far from straightforward and he hung under pressure when last seen out at Ascot. He does have a good draw today though so he has to be on the shortlist. Flipando was only narrowly beaten here last time behind Pride Of Kings and he should again run his race. Angel Rock and Lowther are others to consider but for the winner we are happy to nominate Foolin Myself.
