Paul Midgley's Pretty Orchid won a seller on soft ground at Redcar back in April but has shown little since then so looks best left out of calculations in a race taken to go to FRONTLINE GIRL, who is a confirmed performer under testing conditions and she can defy the rise in the weights for her recent improved form. Several of these have claims on the pick of their form but the large majority of them would probably prefer faster going including the Ollie Pears-trained Dark Moment, Brian Ellison's Lakeman and Declan Carroll's Whipma Whopma Gate. Ruth Carr's Ninth House has more solid claims than most but it is hard to get away from Frontline Girl, who gets the vote.
