In depth

Verdict

Lysino is not improving as expected and the handicapper is still reluctant to help him out. Rhymers Stone failed to complete when fancied at Musselburgh recently having gone close at Kelso before that. Silverton showed some progress with a better effort in a maiden hurdle at Ayr last month and she can figure despite a 4lb rise, though OPERATEUR makes most appeal. He finished clear of the rest of the field when third in a similar contest over track and trip last time. Ben Haslam's charge is going the right way and looks up to winning at this level.
