In depth

Verdict

SWATOW TYPHOON is rated much higher over hurdles than today's rivals and made a promising start to chasing with a third at Bangor to the progressive Mendip Express. Donald McCain's charge is fancied to open his account over fences in this. Maiden hurdle winner, Ballyben, is related to winning chasers and may prove too good for War On on his first start over fences. The latter was still beaten a long way when third over 2m4f here last time while the remaining pair look up against it on the little they've shown so far.
