    Verdict

Madame Blavatsky was only beaten a head on her racecourse debut at Musselburgh and is sure to be popular here with Graham Lee taking over the reins. But BONNIE BURNETT's second at Aintree last month looks stronger form and Brian Rothwell's mare is fancied to open her account today. Arizona River was well beaten over C&D on her reappearance and the three newcomers facing the starter here may all do better for the experience.
