Political Paddy ran his best race for a long time when third at Kelso nine days ago. A C&D winner, he's on a very decent mark nowadays and it would be no surprise to see him go close to ending his losing run. But we just prefer ARTIC NIGHT, who has more to do than when scoring at Carlisle but has the beating of Bollin Fiona on that run and is relatively unexposed so should be open to further improvement. Zefooha bounced back to form when successful at Sedgefield last month but she's 6lb higher now and there's no guarantee she'll reproduce that form here. Easement is an out-and-out stayer but he'll be all the better for his third at Catterick and can't be ignored.
