Verdict

Long Distance was in decent form in the summer and should do better following a comeback third at Carlisle. But he's never won over the minimum trip and recent Carlisle winner Diamond D'Amour is also probably better over further, though was third over C&D on his penultimate start. STORMY WEATHER never looked likely to get to grips with the front-running Tenor Nivernais at Haydock last month but was clear of the third and this represents a drop in grade. The grey can finally open his account for Brian Ellison with Wetherby fourth My Idea probably the pick of the remainder.
