Times Review has the best public form on offer and sets the standard for newcomer Imprint while Finians Gold and Golden Remedy are best of the remainder. The Tim Easterby-trained Times Review proved no match for some smart prospects in a hot York maiden but showed the benefit of the experience when a close second behind a useful performer at Wolverhampton next time out. The son of Crafty Prospector attempted to make all over the six furlongs but was collared on the line and this pacey performer should have no difficulty in coping with the return to the minimum trip. Both Finians Gold and Golden Remedy showed little on their respective debuts but are entitled to leave the form behind in due course so have to be respected while Imprint rates a serious danger. Mick Channon's son of Mark Of Esteem is related to some smart performers and could easily prove good enough to make a wining debut so the market should provide further clues.
