In depth

Verdict

Wildmoor Boy was third in a Listed race at Cheltenham on his debut but then ran poorly when a hot favourite at Ludlow. Lingfield winner Church Leap is unlikely to be suited by the drop in distance and it could also be a problem for Catterick second Sand Blast but Brother Khee might do better given his half-brother won three times on the Flat. Gary Moore trained last year's winner and runs newcomers Empty Marmalade and Le Capricieux while Harry Fry's bumper horses have a terrific record here so Bim Bam Boum is worth a second look. Miss Crick has a NH pedigree but may be suited by further and a set of hurdles. ARTHUR'S GIFT is a half-brother to a three-times Flat winner and by Presenting so shouldn't be short of pace. Ryan Hatch takes off 5lb so he gets a tentative vote.
