In depth

Verdict

Veterans' handicap hurdles are a relatively new concept and this is a really difficult start for punters. PROVO wasn't disgraced in his first start for 14 months over 3m here three weeks ago. He's very lightly raced for his age and has more scope than the majority of his rivals. The booking of Barry Geraghty for the maiden Leave It Be catches the eye while Winning Spark has been in good form over shorter trips. Irish Buccaneer is also interesting back over timber and the consistent Allthegear No Idea is another for the short-list. Ruler Of All isn't badly treated on his best form but Laughton Park will need to improve again if he's to add to his three wins at Plumpton so far.
