      Verdict

Gremlin is prefered to Madaarek and Mujma. Alan King's charge looked to have improved for a step up in trip and has handled some cut in the ground previously despite most of his best form obtaining on faster ground. Madaarek made no mistake in an egg and spoon race at Beverley. We learnt nothing that day so today is the acid test. Mujma is in receipt of plenty of weight and is capable of improvement if consenting to get involved. Softer going should suit on breeding. Mujahaz has no fancy entries but is closely related to Derby winner, Erhaab, so could come on for experience. Monachello sees Frankie Dettori make a rare ride for Amanda Perrett. Cry Presto has had a couple of months off since accounting for Reciprocation at Lingfield in March. Gremlin looks to be progressive enough and could still be capable of more.
