Verdict

There are sure to be plenty of future winners from this race but in the absence of market information, it might be worth chancing Nijoom Dubai against Star In The East and Structura. Jamie Spencer is a relatively rare booking for Mick Channon and while it is of something of a concern that the selection's breeding suggests that she'll be better for further, her stamina may come into play when others have cried enough. Andrew Balding hasn't had too many juvenile runners thus far but his stable are in form and Star In The East is watched in the market. Her family include a number of top grade sprinters such as Atraf so the early moves are watched. Structura has the edge of race experience. She caught the eye on debut and gave the impression that more was to come. Masada is related to a number of middle distance fillies and would have made more appeal had Brian Meehan's stable been in better form. Rio Princess was one of the more expensive purchases on view and as a daughter of Captain Rio, there is plenty of precociousness in her pedigree. Pantherii could find this sharp enough and is one for the notebook this afternoon. A tricky opener and Nijoom Dubai is put forward as the most tentative of selections.
