In depth

Verdict

A low grade handicap which won't take much winning. Beausant is an obvious contender despite having been raised 6lb for landing an even more modest affair at Bath four weeks ago. Roly Tricks won three times at Brighton last year but is struggling to recapture his best. Loving Your Work doesn't win very often but should be thereabouts and Lady Lunchalot would also have a squeak. OFFICER DRIVEL made a decent return to the Flat at Brighton at the start of the week and it's significant that he's turned out again quickly. He's been in decent form over hurdles so must have every chance of going one better. Head Coach has been placed twice on the all-weather lately so also comes into the reckoning.
