Verdict

Dubh Eile bids to win this for a second year running but has 14lb more to carry now. AWESOME ROSIE was trying to concede 7lb to Via Volupta at Wincanton last month and was an unlucky loser having been hampered by the winner in the closing stages. She's an improving sort and can make a successful handicap debut with Tom Bellamy's claim a plus. Unbuckled is consistent and should be thereabouts again and while The Missus couldn't hold off Ayla's Emperor at Newton Abbot, the latter has score again since - the longer trip is an unknown, however. Gold Chain has more to do than when winning at Perth and Bella looks to be in the handicapper's grip now.
