Verdict

There is a trio running with 6lb penalties for last week's victories. CHOICE OF DESTINY was making her debut on Turf at Yarmouth after seven starts on Polytrack and was allowed to go off at 20/1 despite her close second to the prolific Desert Colours at Wolverhampton in March. There was no fluke about the victory and she's expected to improve and go in again. After The Goldrush was also winning for the first time at Windsor, though he'd been knocking at the door and certainly deserved his success. Craftsmanship looked well suited by the soft ground at Nottingham and unless the heavens open again he may not have those conditions here. The Third Man is difficult to assess as he looked potentially smart on his debut at Lingfield in December, though the form has worked out very poorly. The lightly-raced Spirit Raiser may do best of the remainder.
