Verdict

The veteran Cadogan returned to racing after a four year absence to produce some fair efforts over fences and looks certain to go well but Like Your Style had to revert to hurdling to lose his maiden tag last time after ten unsuccessful starts over fences, though mainly in strong handicap company. Skorcher was a progressive hurdler who ran quite well on his chasing bow but disappointed when strongly fancied here last time though the 3m trip may have proved beyond him. EL FONTAN looked a fair prospect over timber back in 2008 but had over two years off before returning over fences last spring. He didn't show too much in three starts over fences but is still a relative youngster and has the scope to go on to better things so gets the nod.
