In depth

Verdict

Swift Approval has started the campaign with a bang but is now nearly a stone higher in the handicap and is not certain to continue to progress. Mystic Miraaj looks a better candidate to build on his recent good form, but Bahama Moon is far from certain to appreciate the drop in trip to seven furlongs. In a pretty open handicap, it’s worth sticking with BERTIEWHITTLE. He’s put in three solid efforts this spring and finished close up in a better race than this last time.
